 Dukkha Dukkha Massage - Deep Tissue Massage - the word dukkha deriving from the buddist culture, often tranlated into suffering, anxiousness, pain, getting old. Dukkha though is neither bad or good, its realistic. They refer as everyone is going to get old, get sick and die. That process is dukkha.  Similar Massage strokes to the Essential but with slower, firm pressure. Go deep into muscle, breaking up any adhesions and tension. Deep pressure and Trigger Point Therapy are used to relax over tired, over stressed muscles and realign deeper layers of muscle. Especially helpful chronic aches and pains.

Gaia Massage - pre/natal massage - Gaia, mythical greek goddess, great mother to all. The Gaia massage is for our expecting mommy. Named after Mother Nature, this massage offers tranquil relaxation, relieves muscle cramps, spasms or pains. Takes stress off weight bearing joints, it enhances pliability of skin and underlying tissues. improves out come of labour and eases labor.

      Pressure may send signals to the nervous system or by 
      releasing chemicals. Reflexology decreases anxiety, pain 
      intensity, nausea and vomiting in cancer paitents. It       
      helps relieve stress, insomnia, digestive disorders and 
      tension headaches.

ADD-ONS

 Aromathrapy - uses essential oils derived from plants. They can affect our mood                  and alleviate pain. Should not be confused with fragrances or perfumes oils.                Those are often made from chemicals and lack the therapeutic properties of                  essential oils.  Different oils are to treat different symptoms such as allergies,               stress, bruises, burns, diarrhea, energy, insect bites, digestion, headaches                       muscle and joint pain just to name a few.  Not recommended for skin                             irritation,  immediately after surgery, prone to blood clots or if you are pregnant.  After                        consultation with your therapist, essential oils may be selected based on your needs and                     what will work best. Oils are mixed and may be used topically, subtle aroma of the essential                 oils fill the air during the massage.  After treatments, a blend may be recommended for you                  to use at home, in between massages.                                          

  Face and Scalp Massage -  15 minute add on to any treatment.  Focuses soley on the                   muscles of the face and  scalp.. Manipulation of the muscles to release stress and                  tension in the head and neck. Drains sinuses

 Hand and Arm Massage - 15 minute add on to any treatment. Focuses solely on the muscles of                   the hand and arm.

 Body Scrubs - this is not a massage, but may be combined with a massage. This a a spa                   treatment. Body scrubs exfoliate and hydrate your skin, leaving it smooth and soft.                  Includes dry brushing, organic sugar or salt scrub and rich hydrating lotion. 60min   

Body Masks and Wraps - detoxifying treatments that stimulate your metabolic system speeding                 its ability to carry away waste products. Hydrating treatments and anti-cellulite treatments .
